Tour and Event Coordinator
The Bureau will provide information on local tour planners and services, bus companies, and visitor attractions. We’ll help plan varied activities your meeting attendees and their guests will enjoy, including outdoor activities/sports, shopping or spa experiences.
Welcome
Arrangements can be made for local dignitaries to welcome your meeting
attendees. A video or slide presentation showcasing significant meeting
sites and points of interest in Greater New Haven is also available.
Publicity
The Bureau staff can provide a media listing covering the State of Connecticut,
regional publications and national media. The staff will assist you with
preparation and distribution of news releases and public service announcements
to help promote attendance and awareness of your conference or meeting.
Name Badges
The Bureau staff can provide printed name badges at cost. A list of your attendees should be submitted two weeks prior to the event.
Registration
The Bureau staff can provide assistance with on-site
registration. The fees are determined by the number of room nights needed
by your group. Arrangements can also be made with local temporary employment
agencies. Registrars work a minimum of four hours. The Bureau can also
provide a self-serviced or attended Visitor Information Desk stocked daily
with Visitor Guides, Calendars of Events, local store coupons, local restaurant
menus, etc.
